Like our Fischer-Tropsch waxes of the DEUREX TO series, we offer our polyethylene waxes of the DEUREX EO series in oxidized form. Depending on the quality and product property requirements, our oxidized polyethylene waxes are produced in the dry oxidation or wet oxidation process. Polyethylene waxes oxidized wet by steam are given the letter P in the product name, while polyethylene waxes oxidized dry by air are identified by the letter K. The raw material used is always the same. The PE waxes are adjusted according to the acid number. Wet oxidation is more homogeneous, the wax is better oxidatively degraded and thus remains brighter and clearer. Because of this, the viscosities and C-chain lengths also differ between wet oxidized and dry oxidized polyethylene waxes.
Different incorporation of waxes requires flexibility in the delivery form: We can offer you our oxidized PE waxes as wax micronizate, as wax powder, as wax granules or also as aqueous wax dispersions and wax emulsions.
