DEUREX TO 83 G

The products of the DEUREX TO series are tailor made for the versatile demands on congealing point, penetration, acid value and saponification value.

 DEUREX TO 83 G is an oxidized Fischer-Tropsch wax. The wax is hard, scratch resistant and has an hydrophilic character with very good compatibility. During PVC processing the wax increases viscosity and accelerates gelling. It works as an internal and external lubricant. Since there is no metal adhesion the FT wax also works as metal release agent. In the production of Masterbatches it works as dispersing agent for hydrophilic pigments. It is suitable for cold applications. When DEUREX TO 83 G is used in hot melts it shortens the open time, increases adhesion and avoids stringing. The dosage level of bonding agents can be reduced, too.

The oxidized Fischer-Tropsch wax DEUREX TO 83 G is mainly applied in the production of water-based dispersions and water based emulsions. In water based paints and coatings as well as water based printing inks the wax increases slip, rub resistance and scratch resistance. In care products (such as polishes and leather care) the oxidized Fischer-Tropsch wax improves the surface properties gloss and hardness. Additionally, sewability of textiles and cutting during paper production are improved. The Fischer-Tropsch wax DEUREX TO 83 G also works as anti-corrosion-agent.
