DEUREX T 18 G

DEUREX T 18 G is a microcrystalline wax which is approved for direct food contact. Compared to other commercial microcrystalline that are delivered as slabsheavy and bulky, DEUREX offers the product as granules. This form of delivery eases the handling during production a lot.

During PVC processing it is used as lubricant and it can be applied for packagings with direct food contact (e.g. bread, vegetables, meat). In the rubber industry DEUREX T 18 G is used due to its sun and ozone protection as well as due to its migration behaviour. A high resistance against oil and cold combined with an increased rub resistance ake this product very interesting for the cable industry.

 The wax can also be used in the production of hot melts that are applied in industries with direct food contact. The open time of hot melts can be adjusted, adhesion will be increased and stringing will be avoided.

DEUREX T 18 G is also suitable for paints and coatings with direct food contact. It increases rub and scratch resistance and improves slip.
