Oil based wax dispersion based on polypropylene wax
Perfect for printing inks!
The oil based wax dispersion DEUREX P 3618 O was specially developed for oil based printing inks, it is suitable for sheetfed offset, web offset, heatset printing and coldset printing.
In the ink, the wax improves surface properties such as abrasion resistance and scratch resistance. Due to a reduced coefficient of friction, the surface offers good slip and increased anti-blocking. The applied ink becomes more resistant to chemical and temperature influences through the use of the wax dispersion. The ink also has a nice soft-feel effect.
The micronized polypropylene wax DEUREX P 36 used has a very high drop point of ~ 160 °C and a particle size of 98 % < 18 µm (or 50 % < 9 µm). The solid content of wax in the oil based dispersion is ~ 19 %.
