Oil-based wax dispersion of an oxidized hardwax
The oxidized hardwax DEUREX EO 45 is probably the hardest wax in the world. It is available in various delivery forms, in this case as the oil based wax dispersion DEUREX EO 4518 O.
The oil based dispersion is particularly suitable for oily printing inks for sheet-fed offset printing, web offset printing, heatset printing and coldset printing.
In the finished printed product, the oxidized hardwax provides excellent abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and rub resistance. Due to a reduced coefficient of friction, slip and anti-blocking properties increase. Resistance to temperatures and chemicals is increased.
Lacquer oil is used as solvent for the oil based wax dispersion. Other oils can be used on request. The dispersion is white opaque.
